GETTING STUFF DONE
We have four new neighborhood parks, with more coming!
Working with West Sacramento Firefighters, we passed Measure O, which has led to our first full-time Roads Crew doing proactive pavement preservation (not just patching), improved public safety (increased response times, updated equipment, and more safety personnel), and funding for park maintenance.
We’ve completed several new housing projects, and implemented the Homeless Emergency Housing Program—which uses motels as interim housing—stabilizing 120+ individuals at a time with support services.
We’re focused on long-term economic development investments, including the Small Business Accelerator Program (including $1M+ in grants, started the Tourism Improvement District, and began our city marketing campaign, celebrating West Sac’s role as a home for professional sports
We are continuing the highly successful Home Run Program, which helps prepare youth to be successful in their education and life journey.
Coming next year, Club Pheasant will begin its new life as a community hub and gathering space.
